Kevin Zubor

Executive summary

Kevin Zubor serves as Grant Thornton LLP’s chief financial officer (CFO) and as a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. He is a veteran finance leader with nearly 30 years of finance and accounting experience, including more than a decade in top leadership roles. Zubor has a long track record of driving organizational objectives, executing long- and short-term strategies, and successfully forecasting domestic and international operations.

Zubor joined Grant Thornton in 2022 after serving for eight years as the CFO of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a global law firm headquartered in Chicago. Prior to that role, he served in multiple leadership positions with Jones Lang Lasalle America. His 16-year tenure at the real estate giant culminated in his appointment as the firm’s Americas chief accounting officer.

Throughout his decades-long career in financial leadership, Zubor has accumulated a robust repertoire of skills and specialties. He has extensive experience in audit, tax, and budgeting as well as mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning and analysis.

A proven leader who has built effective finance teams at every organization he has served, Zubor is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Community involvement

• Zubor has been heavily involved in local youth athletics throughout Chicago. He was the head coach of the Lyons Football Club for five years, and he also served for three years as treasurer on the club’s board of directors. Additionally, Zubor volunteered for four years as the coach of the St. Francis Xavier Church basketball team. He has been involved in fundraising events for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and he has helped raise money for breast cancer awareness as part of the Chicago Mission hockey team’s Pink in the Rink event.
