Tessa O’Keefe

Executive summary

Tessa is a Partner with Grant Thornton’s Tax Reporting and Advisory Services (TRA) practice and is Grant Thornton’s Leader for U.S. Tax Services for the Media & Entertainment Industry. She has worked in Grant Thornton’s Los Angeles office since 2005 and has experience in both the audit and tax fields. She works closely with other service line leaders to provide a holistic approach to managing risk and identifying opportunities for her clients.

Tessa assists her multi-national clients with corporate tax compliance and consulting matters, tax accounting method planning, tax-planning strategies, IRS audit defense, purchase accounting, accounting for income taxes and uncertain tax positions, and tax controls advisory. She primarily works with high growth and large private companies and publicly traded SEC registrants.

Tessa has worked in a variety of industries, but has primarily focused in the Media and Entertainment and Technology and Telecommunications sectors including having served several companies in E-Sports, Gaming, Adtech, Media and Production, Broadcasting, Digital Media and SAAS.
