Roy Nicholson

Based in Silicon Valley, Roy Nicholson is National Managing Principal of the Grant Thornton Digital Transformation practice. Roy has 25 years of management consulting and software company leadership experience focused on technology strategy, product and custom software development and systems implementation. Roy is experienced in the end to end process of bringing software solutions to market and attaining business value through the effective implementation of software for clients.

Roy helps clients develop enterprise technology strategies the subsequent execution of those strategies. He has had a focus on enabling process improvements around digital content management in addition to process and workflow automation. He has led multiple product development efforts for his employers in addition to helping clients bring new digitally enabled product and service offerings to market.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Roy was Vice President of Professional Services and General Manager for the Life Sciences Business Unit at EMC's Enterprise Content Division and prior to that was a Partner within IBM Global Business Services. He joined IBM through the acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.
